On August 11, I took the kids to Lagoon. What a fun day. Andie, Traven, Traven's friend Taylor, and Hadlee joined me and all my kids. Then at about 3:00, John came with Chad G, Gatlin, Vanessa, Boston, Brock, Lindsey (Brock's girlfriend), Justin and Kelly. We stayed until closing. It was Ag day at Lagoon, so thanks to Grandpa Blaine, we had free lunch. They also did a drawing for prized. Briggs was my only child to win. He won a spice rack, complete with the spices. It sits proudly on my kitchen counter. He was so excited! If you notice all the pictures are of Brevan and Nae, that is because my other kids ran off. (Don't read that last line Grandma Linda) They went and rode the BIG rides, while I stayed with the youngest two and watched them ride the little rides. Brielle is crazy. She latched on to Justin and Kelly and rode every ride they did. She was mad that she was to short to ride Jet Star II. She is a funny girl. She even rode wicked!! Briggs is much more conservative when it comes to roller coasters. He stuck to Jet Star II, the Bat, and the white roller coaster. His qualifications are: it can't go upside down, at all, and it can't go too fast. Britlee and Mariah and Bryson and Hadlee were all over the place and on all kinds of rides. They had a ball. We keep thinking we need to bounce back. Better get going on that!!
In Brevan's words: "Mom, where else can you go and ride a airplane, a boat, a helicopter and a whale all in the same day?"

Briggsy, Briggsy, Briggsy. The white roller coaster is way scarier than Colossus! I promise! You can't even tell you are upside down. If you dare to go on the white one, you can go on any! There's my challenge if you bounce back.
Oh, and I don't like the White Sox this year. They're too good.
